PasteFox is a web-based platform for sharing text and code snippets. The service includes paste creation, syntax highlighting, password protection, expiration settings, custom domains, folders, collections, and an API for programmatic access.
You may use PasteFox without an account for basic paste creation. Creating an account provides additional features such as a dashboard, paste management, API keys, and custom domains. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to use PasteFox only for lawful purposes. You may share code snippets, text, configuration files, logs, and similar content. You must not use the service to distribute malware, spam, or any content that violates applicable laws.
You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content, you grant PasteFox a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the service. PasteFox's own content, design, logos, and software are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
API access is subject to rate limits and fair use policies. Free accounts receive a base rate limit; premium accounts receive higher limits. Abuse of the API, including excessive requests, scraping, or circumventing rate limits, may result in temporary or permanent suspension of API access.
Premium users may connect custom domains to PasteFox. You are responsible for ensuring you own or have authorization to use any domain you connect. PasteFox reserves the right to disconnect domains that are used for abuse, phishing, or that violate these terms.
Your use of PasteFox is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the dashboard settings. Upon termination, your pastes may be deleted. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms without prior notice.
PasteFox is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, if any.
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Germany. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
